So what did you decide Larry?? I've owned full frame for years and, even though it is big and heavy, would not go back to crop. My friend has a 7D MKII and always comments how much better my 5D MKIV shots look compared to his - resolution wise. Another word on cheaper. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! I not only paid full price through BH, I also bought a Square Trade warranty (best and most honest out there) for another $400 so I spent almost $4000. I dropped my beloved 5D MKIII in the ocean last year and luckily had 5 days left on my Square Trade warranty. I sent the camera back to them with the destroyed 24-105 lens prepaid by them. They sent it to Canon who said there was no way they could repair it. So Square Trade sent me a brand new 5D MKIII and 24-105 kit through BH. Then BH offered to take the kit back and upgrade me to the 5D MKIV kit! I bought a new Square Trade warranty on the MKIV and haven't had to use it yet but my MKIV died only after 2 months. First Canon ever to die on me. I sent it in to Canon and they sent me a loaner MKIV free of charge while I was waiting for mine to be repaired. I think I am the only person to have his MKIV die but then again, that is my luck which is why I also buy the warranties! lol None of this excellent service would have occurred if I had purchased my camera through a non-Canon authorized third party seller to save $300! There is NO WAY you will ever get that kind of service through a grey market or non-Canon authorized eBay seller - period! You're spending a LOT of money. Don't skimp on a few hundred dollars. Let us know what you've decided to do.

Thank you Jeff. I did find the person by the way. It is all a matter of perspective and the eye.

Sorry I didn't consider it rude or hijacking. Would you like me to delete the post?

Reminds me of a shot I took years ago at Sunset Crater in Arizona. It looks like a prehistoric fish fossilized in a tree trunk!

This is the best deal you will find and it is new! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cullmann-Magnesit-532-Tripod-Kit-with-Alpha-9000-Video-Head-CU55321VIDEO-/371686370603?hash=item568a3bed2b:g:JSAAAOSwopRYkchk
I have the carbon fiber version of this tripod and a friend has this aluminum version. They are built like tanks and German designed. I could not find any used ones and this one comes with a cheap pan head but for the price, you could just take the pan head off if you have a good ball head. From you desired price though, I doubt you have a decent ball head. I love my Cullmann Magnesit 532C carbon fiber tripod. The bottom legs are thick and it gos up extremely high (up to 100 inches with tube extended). I put my Canon 5D MKIV and 100-400mm lens with my Acratech or Gimble heads on it with no problem. The aluminum model is heavier but just as sturdy. It is $80 so $30 over your $50 but it is BRAND NEW! If you want a fantastic tripod for this ridiculously low price, get the Cullmann! The only reason they are so cheap is because Cullmann redesigned their top-end models and came out with a new one (which is more compact but no way as sturdy) so they are closing out this model. These used to cost about $250 for the aluminum and $400 for the carbon fiber model!

Creative Live has tons of video workshops on Photoshop. One of the best is Adobe Photoshop CC: The Complete Guide with Ben Wilmore. There are 19 video tutorials and all of the images he uses are available to download if you buy the class and he also includes bonus materials and cheat sheets. This course starts off with the very basics and then moves on to the more complex aspects of Photoshop CC. Ben also has a complete course on Lightroom. The beauty of these courses is you don't have to pay a fortune for a workshop AND you basically get one on one instruction AND at your own pace. At workshops, you have to try to follow along with the instructor and sometimes you can't produce what he or she just did but have to move on. With an online course, you can pause it, rewind it and go over it until you get it. Much better retention that way in my book!

Another great program out there is On1 Photo Raw 10. That is an incredibly powerful program similar to Photoshop but HUGELY easier to create multi-layered and nested-layered images without having to understand the complexity of layers. You can adjust something to start off and then add multiple corrections and effects on top and then always go back and adjust that bottom layer at any time and it will still affect the whole image. There are a LOT of tutorials for On1 as well.

Hope this helps!

No. As a matter of fact, Canon has to go completely through the camera and replace anything that is not right in order to sell it as refurbished. In some instances, a refurbished camera is better than new because it has been recertified. Don't ever buy a "refurbished or recertified" camera or lens through anyone other than Canon however. You will not necessarily get a refurbished model. I ordered a refurbished ball head from BH and it obviously had the same problem that it was originally sent back for. Canon actually goes through and guarantees the camera or lens is like new again. I have purchased many items this way (lens, flash, camera) and never ever had a problem! On the other hand, I bought a brand new 5D MKIV in September and it died in November! Canon took it back and completely went through it and fixed all problems. So now I have a "refurbished" MKIV but it works like a champ!

On a side note, you will LOVE the 6D. A newer model is coming out soon but the original is a great camera and you will really appreciate the advantage of full frame.

My wife used the Panasonic line for several years. Her last one was the FZ200. She or I wasn't really happy with the quality of the shots so I bought her the Canon SL1. She absolutely loves it and even though it is a bit heavier than a point and shoot, her shots now rival my shots with my big 5D MKIV! Might be overkill for your wife though
