i've got 2 breakthrough nd filters. quite pleased w/them. they are "older"...i.e. screw on type of threads, not magnetic. good customer service too.

no i haven't. i think the stump is cool foreground that leads the eye to the tree and then there's neat background, to just get the stump, i'd have to change position and lose the other 2 elements of the photo. i think the stump compliments the tree; i aimed for separation of grass b/w the two. thanks for the thought.

does anyone know whether the path leading down to the river is open? the path that costs $10 is what i'm referring to. a few bad apples, vandals, spoil the bushel, us "good guys". ugh. i've got it on my list for the fall, but want some current info. thanks....

that's an odd angle of a cool cabin. makes it appear that the chimney grew a big tree!
