Just noticed earlier today that one of the local town's meters now takes credit cards

Dunedin Florida uses a system where you go to a box, put in either dollars or a credit card. It spits out a paper slip that has the expiration time in large numbers. You put that slip on your dashboard so the meter maids can see it. No slip? You get a welcome note from the city that tells you where to pay your fine.

Nice capture Voss. I like the B&W just the way it is, but cropping the top to just above the blue bus makes the color version work for me. Just like everything in this world, everyone sees things differently.

Great shots and series -

Do you remember when that was a giant plane? The biggest thing that could ever fly? Now it sits under the wing of a C5M and almost disappears

As a kid I remember watching the TV show Twelve o'clock High. Much later in life I finally saw a B-17 and Fifi in real life. What amazed me was how SMALL these planes were and also how far from reality TV shows from the sixties portrayed them.

Nice capture of a twenty-seven thousand dollar toy. I see a lot of them in this part of Florida.

I got a 18 140mm with my first d7100. I use it on my d500 now and think it is nicely sharp and lite. I agree with you. Lol

I liked the 18-140mm as my walk around lens for my D7000. When I bought my D500 I couldn't resist the deal I got on 16-80mm. Now that is my walk around lens. I mostly shoot in the 17-70mm range anyway.

Portuguese Nurse Dies Suddenly After Receiving COVID Vaccine

You live in an area that has been decimated by this disease. Don't take the vaccine if you don't want to. Most of us will, as the whole freaking medical world scientists worked or reviewed this vaccine.

Just like the flu vaccine, many don't take it (me included) but many die each year from the flu. I will be taking this vaccine when I can get it. COVID is worst than any flu ...

I am not a cheapskate. I am thrifty.

I was going to say the same ... there is a BIG difference between the two, cheapskates usually pay more in the end because their cheapness causes them to buy inferior products, which in turn fail prematurely so they have to replace them.
