While a very nice story, it was clearly written as"click bait" to make money on the ads. Not minimizing her story, just pointing out what it is.

Personally, I really like #1. It looks almost like it was shot with something like Portra 100. I like the composition and while the flare is there, I think it adds to the image. Not that #2 is a nice photo; it is. I just think you might have 20 other people with flower/insect photos. Technical stuff aside, #1 has a "vibe" to it.
