I remember this, and remember it was just another Bush backstabbing of conservatives. I posted the following in another topic:
"Typical liberal mind sewage -- Blame Bush, as if we conservatives consider Bush the ultimate Presidential example of that which we believe. Many of us don't think he was anything but another RINO who was weak on social and economical issues."

I never voted for Bush. I wrote in the name of someone I considered a true conservative -- Allan Keyes, who I also voted for in the 2000 and 2008 primary. That's right, I didn't vote for John McCain, either.

It's OK, dirtpusher. I like pushing the buttons on the liberal progressives -- their ad hominem attacks disguised as a reply show them for what they really are. Intellectually challenged, consumed by emotional "feel goodism", unable to express any original thought. In this case, since Tward always likes to blame Bush, I was giving him an opening to express his latest bit of mental twaddle. Instead, another bottom-feeding carp took the bait.

And the IRS scandal was Bush's fault. Right, Tward?

It's a big improvement from from "Liberty" under your man, Bush.

That being the case, you absolutely have no clue what Liberty is, nor that which are the responsibilities of Liberty. And, since you're apparently incapable of reading comprehension, a re-read of my original post might illuminate that I, in no way, consider Bush "my man"...

Looks like a slight edit of your quote would be applicable to many of the posters on this forum! Thanks, I'll be saving this and using it in the future.

Yeah, funny how liberals became conservatives and my RINO became a DINO, ain'nit...
Sure, you're quite welcome to use my quote, as long as you post the original quote as is...

Add my vote!!! Conservatives considered themselves Patriots all the time George Bush tapped their phones read their emails, and studied their bank accounts--sometimes even entering their homes and copying their hard drives.

Some Patriots!

But the fables continue to give the illusion of Liberty.

The 2nd Amendment gives you gun nuts the right to a musket, nothing more.
I will gladly support the intended use of the 2nd Amendment.

Just so we'll know the legal authority of your argument and the logic from which it derives, please define "gun nut". Also, please detail the part of the 2nd Amendment which specifies "musket".

Oh come on. You are being deliberately ignorant or dishonest to insist that this is the reason that the World War II memorial and every memorial and park under the control of the federal government regardless of the source of funding and even when closing a memorial or park costs MORE to close than to leave open. If the actions actually reflected that "no money" was the reason, you might have a credible argument there.

When the the park service expends extra time, effort, and materials (costs) to close 100% privately funded parks, "no money" is not the reason.

Given that this has not happened in 17 government shutdowns under any prior President, you can't claim it is standard operating procedure or even necessary.

It is a punitive action. Only the most stubborn Obamaphile would insist otherwise.

No, no. If you're going to make such an accusation, then AT LEAST provide the link that YOU found to support your statement.
