Actually, used Gausian blur over the entire image. Then, I used selective erasing. As noted originally, it's my poor knowledge using Photoshop. I figure my Photoshop skills have no chance for success without first committing errors.

When you say "glare", are you referring to the specular highlights on her check areas? Is this something you would strive to eliminate in the initial shoot or manipulate in post editing. Would you tone down or eliminate?
