Was this lion famous because of a movie or some other reason? To lure an animal off of a protected area just so you can k**l him is so despicable that the 15 year sentence is not anywhere near enough for this i***t. If you're willing to pay 55,000 to k**l this animal then the fine should be at least 250,000 plus a stiff jail sentence. I would hope he would lose his practice. I know I would no longer go see this dentist anymore.

Rich

He was famous because he liked to pose for pictures for tourists. He was used to humans which made this crime all the worse. And the dentist - in addition to previous illegal hunting - also paid an employee $127,000 on a sexual harassment suit.
And to those d**gging that edited Planned Parenthood video into this... yes, I am far more outraged over an animal that was alive and is in fewer and fewer numbers - lured by bait off his protected range to be shot, but not k**led immediately by some bozo willing to pay $55,000 for the illegal k**l.
A******ns are legal. And the things that are saved from them go on to save someone else. But if you'd be happier to have it all thrown away and no one helped... then keep on protesting. While we're at it.. let's also stop organ donations too.

Windows 10 Automatic Updates Causing Serious New Problems

KB3074681 had no detailed information about what it contained but as it was classified as a ‘security’ patch it installed immediately and without warning to all versions of Windows 10 (Home, Pro and Enterprise) then promptly caused Windows Explorer to crash for a number of users.

The article also lists fixes.... so... bookmark the article. I'm going to do the update on my ASUS laptop first. Once that's up and running I'll worry about my desktop.

You can also choose not to install it or when to install it. It won't automatically install.

Silicon Power makes several portable HD's which are drop proof, water proof, etc. in different capacities. They are small and easily carried. I own a couple and they have been great and they are not super expensive.

Never updated that particular cameras firm ware but I have updated others (several) - never had a problem. Firmware updates usually fix any problems and/or add features. (both desirable)

Here in Connecticut there is a gun shop that has a sign by the front door that says, "We reserve the right not to serve anyone for any reason".

Comments?

After all the attention, he changed his mind and is taking a Muslim to a gun range.

And after reading some of the i***tic comments and ideas on some of the websites with this article I'm still trying to figure out how he would know a Muslim if he saw one. Some suggested making everyone eat bacon... yeah, great idea... except for one tiny thing...

1. Jews don't eat bacon
2. 7th Day Adventists don't eat bacon
3 And... technically no Christian is supposed to eat bacon - or touch any part of a pig. (yes, I know... Jesus came along and did away with all that OT stuff - except some Christians still cling to some of that OT stuff)

So much for that.

Why didn't this gun shop owner refuse to serve W***e S*********ts after Dylann Roof shot those people in the church? I can think of many incidents when Muslims were not the ones holding the guns and shooting people. Not all Muslims are out to get us. And frankly, if it weren't for a Muslim (who had plenty of legal opportunities to k**l me) I would not be here now.

Thanks for posting. I grew up in Southern California and went to Disneyland often in those early years. Fond memories and these pics brought many of them racing back. Another is the enormous parking lot and my parents loosing the car on a very hot day with very tired children.

Ditto here.... have old family movies of one trip there. Got them transferred from 8mm to DVD. Treasured memories.

You sure you don't mean FLOPPY drives?

Running W10 preview and it can make use of my DVD drive.

Of course it is running in a VM, but I have not seen where it can't support CD/DVD - but I did read where floppy support is gone.

WATCHING DVD movies will require additional software - Media Center is gone - perhaps this is what you are referring to?

A couple years ago I had a computer built to my custom specifications. That included a BD/DVD drive. But when I got it, the Blu-ray wouldn't work (DVD did). I ended up having to buy additional software so I could use the Blu-ray. I hardly ever use the Windows Media Center so I won't miss it. And even though it angered me that a brand new computer did not fully work (and I will NEVER buy another computer from the person who built it for me)... I guess that aspect of it was a "favor" for this release of Win10. Right now I'm only doing the update on one computer.

I think what MS said was that they were discontinuing windows picture viewer and / or Windows Media Center. There are plenty of other programs that will play mwv files.

They stopped updating it in 2009. I rarely use it so I doubt I'll miss it.

As usual, there appears to be a lot of misinformation being passed around. I would be shocked to see that a WINDOWS file format (WMV) suddenly not be supported by a Windows OS.

I would be really surprised if this newest version of Windows did not offer the compatibility mode option for your stuff.

Is there a list of stuff somewhere that tells you what will and won't be supported?
