Biden needs to get a grip. No further comment from me.

President Biden was seen snapping at another reporter during his latest press appearance addressing the U.S. response to the Russia-Ukraine war on Thursday.

Biden traveled to Brussels, Belgium to participate in an emergency NATO meeting to discuss more international efforts to support Ukraine following Russia’s invasion. During a public appearance, Biden announced sanctions on over 400 Russian entities as well as plans to accept more than 100,000 Ukrainian refugees.

However, CBS reporter Christina Ruffini pressed him on whether these actions will be useful in deterring Russian President Vladimir Putin from pressing forward.

"Sir, deterrence didn’t work. What makes you think Vladimir Putin will alter course based on the action you’ve taken today?" Ruffini asked.

"Let’s get something straight. You remember if you covered me from the very beginning, I did not say that, in fact, the sanctions would deter him. Sanctions never deter. You keep talking about that. Sanctions never deter," Biden answered.

Biden’s insistence contrasted with several members of his administration’s previous claims prior to Russia’s invasion. Vice President Kamala Harris stated on Feb. 20 that the purpose of sanctions has "always been and continues to be deterrence." White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki also stated one day later that "deterrence is part of our objective."

Biden further explained to Ruffini, "The mains of sanctions, the increasing the pain, and the demonstration why I asked of this NATO meeting today is to be sure that after a month we will sustain what we’re doing not just next month, the following month, but for the remainder of this entire year. That’s what will stop him."

Ruffini repeated the question, asking whether these actions could make Putin change course.

"That’s not what I said. You’re playing a game with me. The answer’s no," Biden snapped back.

Biden has had a history of yelling or criticizing reporters during press conferences for asking difficult questions. In January, he referred to Fox News reporter Peter Doocy as a "stupid son of a b---h" for asking whether inflation would be a political problem in the midterms. In February, Biden called NBC’s Lester Holt a "wise guy" for bringing up his past claims that inflation would be "t***sitory."

No one is arguing that he is not smart. He is as much of a narcissist and more of a f*****t than Trump, and a hell of a lot smarter - that is why he is so dangerous.

He is NOT a conservative. He interjects his state government into every aspect of our lives in Florida, overruling local government which has been v**ed in by our communities. He argues against mandates by pandering to "parents rights" - that the government should have no say in whether or not our kids (employees, customers, etc.) wear masks and then bullies high school kids who are wearing masks indoors according to CDC guidelines. He appoints people around him not for their capabilities but for their willingness to echo his desires. Corruption is no stranger to his administration, but the fact that the Florida legislature is mostly Republicans, he gets away with all sorts of things. Publix donated $500,000 to his PAC. Guess which pharmacy chain was the only provider of C***D v*****e for the first 3 or 4 months here in Florida? His surgeon general (Dr Ladapo - or Dr. Lapdog, as I call him) has TWO full-time jobs with the state, each paying well over $200,000. Three professor/scholars at UF were asked to testify in litigation about the role of the state (I forget the exact issue) and the University threatened them until the court ruled that they could not be prevented from testifying.

He has intervened in the requirement of hospitals to have a pharmacy and therapeutics committee to establish guidelines on the use of medications within their facilities.

His involvement in the NCAA t*********r issue (which I will admit has no answer that will make everyone happy) is nothing but pandering to his base. As governor he has absolutely no role in this issue, but as a narcissist/f*****t he felt compelled to interject himself into the issue.
