When I was young we had a neighbor that owned a mechanics shop in East Los Angeles. He signed up for a Ticker dealership. Had one to display for awhile but I never saw that he built a showroom or ever had more that the one. I think he had it only to show people and never sold it. I recall it was expensive compared or other cars that year but can't recall the price. I saw and had a ride in it (once). I was 13 then. I don't recall it was much different from any other car except for the appearance and the rear engine location. I remember it was roomy compared to my mother's 37 Oldsmobile. The model he had was black.
Shoulda bought a Rolleiflex! JK!

Great images of a beautiful auto. But....that is certainly not any original factory color option!
Best, most effective image of this kind that I have seen on here. Thanks for sharing.
Nice image! Dragsters sure have evolved a lot since I last went to the Pomina Drags back in, maybe, 1954!
I had an XK-150 Fixed-head Coupe. White with black leather. It was good enough to attract the attention of my now 60-years wed spouse!
Go Apple Macintosh, I have used them since 1984 successively using more, larger and complex versions, originally to process photos scanned from my 35mm Nikons and then when digital cameras evolved around 2002 I started being able to load images directly from the cameras. The Macs are easy to learn, even if you have PC experience.
They don't miss meals in Galveston!
Yes Canon, I have always used them.
Exceptional vision! The third and fourth images are superb! Thanks for sharing.
My Farmers household policy includes adequate coverage and they have an extra rider policy that can raise the coverage value if you have a lot of value to cover. It was more economical that a dedicate equipment policy the last time I checked.Iy is for non-professionals only, however.
