One of my favorite birds is the Tufted Titmouse, when I researched the bird one of the interesting facts is they stash food, similar to Black-capped Chickadee and the White Breasted Nuthatch that we have in our area all seasons. Another item I discovered is the Titmouse really likes almonds.
This series shows the Tufted Titmouse attempting to stash an almond for later.
The series was taken back in January 2019.
I have not posted in a long time, now that I have officially retired, I can get back post processing and posting some more.

I found a Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II Mirrorless Micro and Olympus 300mm f/4 IS PRO for rent at LensRental in Cordova, TN. Does anyone out there have any experiences with LensRental? Can't locate the Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II Mirrorless Micro at BorrowLens.
I rented my Nikon 200-500 mm from them, then I purchased same lens from them.
No hassle. and tracking of original shipment was provided and guaranteed.

Mike
Nice shots, this wouldn't be Fabyan Park in Batavia would it?
This would make 8th year in a row.
May have to make a trip again.

Enjoyed the facts and shots of this magnificent bird. Owls are so silent in flight that they go undetected by their prey. They have extraordinary hearing abilities that stretch for hundreds of yards. Plus, they can turn their heads 180 degrees. Owls are cool.
erickter,
Thank you for the kind response.
Totally agree Owls are cool.

Thank you for the nice comment.
When I check a particular bird or birds habitat some are regulated to the North East and Northern Illinois gets included.
I bet you have some unique birds we don't see too often.

Thank you for the info and shots. I really like the first shot; lots of nice detail. He or she looks like they are all dressed up for a date with a possible mate. Very impressive.
