One of my favorite birds is the Tufted Titmouse, when I researched the bird one of the interesting facts is they stash food, similar to Black-capped Chickadee and the White Breasted Nuthatch that we have in our area all seasons. Another item I discovered is the Titmouse really likes almonds.
This series shows the Tufted Titmouse attempting to stash an almond for later.
The series was taken back in January 2019.
I have not posted in a long time, now that I have officially retired, I can get back post processing and posting some more.

We have the birds you mention at our feeder. The titkouse likes to take the seed away to some hard surface so it can break it open.

Have watched the Tufted Titmouse, look for the largest of the sunflower seeds and fly up to a tree branch and hold with their feet and break them open.
