wish you all the luck as you struggle with your addiction.
Hedgehogians???
The jpeg vs raw conversations has been discussed more often than anything on this site, but as usual, the final decision is up to each individual photographer, as it should be. Make your decision and be happy, I know I have.
By the way, nice photographs.
Na, don't care what settings you want to use, it's your choice. I use auto ISO to get the shutter speed that I need for the picture I'm taking ... usually, things are happening too fast to be able to stop and change the ISO. Do what you need to do ...
regardless of what new computer you decide on, I'd recommend that you consider a backup system that will allow you to keep a backup of your photos and other important information ... you'll be glad you did.
The butterfly pictures were taken at a butterfly pavilion in the Phoenix area.
Regarding the "combat" mention ... I noticed(over a period of weeks) that I did see the birds "fighting?" I never saw any birds get hurt or injured in any way, it seemed like they were just trying to assert their place at the feeding station - interesting. I was also amazed that often their "fighting" seemed to take place in mid-air with limiter wing flapping, yet none of the birds ever even came close to hitting the ground!
Once one of the birds found the place where there was food, they seemed to go inform the rest of the flock where they had found food, and that resulted in a lot of activity at the feeder.
Thanks to the folks who replied with nice comments, appreciate your comments. Also, thank you to the folks who reminded me that I posted these pictures in the wrong area ... I'll try to remember in the future!
More pictures ... hope you enjoy
Hope you enjoy the pictures ... a few from my deck & a few from Arizona
Go for it, you're responsible for your own actions - good luck
I apologize for anything I may have said to upset you, I should have known better. Seems as though some people just like to complain and that's their prerogative, I was just trying to bring some logic to the conversation and you apparently needed to complain or was it more like gossip? I didn't take into account that you feel like you feel and that's okay, I'll try not to get in the middle of what you apparently need to say and I will try to stay out of these kinds of conversations.
