Thankyou for posting close up "interesting" but does not have the same impact as the original which is so spectacular! Zooming in loses effect of the original!
My apologies Jay. DickW has pointed out to me that what I was looking at was the outline of buildings in the "mist". He's correct - I'm wrong and I'm sorry. I am not used to looking at snow scenes but that's no excuse for not thinking about it more before commenting. I do like the shot a lot.
No worries at all. Thanks for explaining but I do have very thick skin. I am a New Yorker after all!
It's a very nice image Jay but (and I don't mean to be rude here) but there seems to be a very hard line around the tree line in the sky that is possibly the result of some PP
Not rude at all. I did some modest PP (contrast, clarity, bumps whites a bit. No heavy lifting around the tree, however. Thanks for looking and commenting!
I love this,JayCohen. I've seen several admirable shots of the walk in the park or down the lane with the snow but the added touch of the person walking the dog makes this one stand out.
Thanks, Carly Sue. I took several when no one was there (which it hard to do), but I also liked the person in the frame.
