Bob, very impressive piece of art! You are getting good at this hobby!

I have the Nikon 35 1.8-Doubt you can do better for the price. As others have said, it is very sharp and
handles most low light situations.

Like others,I have taken the D40-D5100-D7000 route, and have stopped there and still in possession of all 3 cameras. One thing, they have gotten progressively
heavier, but that is to be expected. With each upgrade I have noticed better picture quality-maybe what wanted to see, but nonetheless I thought so. Since I am not going full frame, my "next" nikon will be either the D7200 or the D500, and I am wondering if I will see a significant upgrade in picture quality with either of those two cameras- probably not- My other issue is the fact that I like the images from my little sony RX100 sometimes better than the Nikon images, and I think I must prefer the Zeiss lens. (I used to own a Leica M5) with sumicron lenses- ) That said, the D5100 is a great camera, lightweight,
and I find myself going back to it, leaving the heavier D7000 in the bag- However, the D5300 has some significant upgrades, and might be the better choice over the D5100.

all familiar critters to my backyard- The cardinals' visits are fleeting, the doves and starlings hang all day and eat all
of the birdseed- the Deer eat my perennials and vegetables-The squirrels and raccoons are ever present along with a
Groundhog or two, rabbits and chipmunks- It's like a zoo-and I'm the foolish old man that feeds them and occasionally
takes pictures of them.

we've been to Tangier/Crisfield-in years past, and times "change"-the new town house development on the shore in Crisfield is an eyesore, the diminishing
"everything" in Tangier is sad. As a lover of Blue Crabs I am sorry that the waterman life might be another "change" in years to come, with some sort of more commercial crab harvest. I'm glad we got to see it mostly the way it was, i.e. the waterman's life and environment. A great book for anyone interested in Waterman and this area in particular Is "Beautiful Swimmers" I think the author is Warner. a google will tell you. Thanks for the post. Brings back good memories.

$8-$10- still a great deal given their content. So many interesting series to "get involved" in- Binge watching every night at first-then calmed down to just 2 episodes a night. I watch more of Netflix than Amazon , and I do watch too much
of all of it- would do better to write Poetry- post process- or something more creative!

Sandy, Welcome! The streetcar shot is a Winner- the soft green colors invite one into the picture- Hey, how bout a ride down Charles st!!!

other worldly, especially the open window to the Tuscan countryside
tremendous pictures.

regardless of the possible alien invasion and DNA altering, the photo
is excellent. Would look good on 30X40 canvas in a rustic country wood beamed house, near the pantry.

#3 is my pick- nice design- only $100K or so and it's a real showplace.

Well, your FIL and I have the same age, and sounds like he could write a book:
'Would you believe, Jazz at the White House"!! lol. My wife and I love to vacation on the Maryland Shore-St Michael's, Tilhman Island-Annapolis.Steamed Blue Crabs are my favorite meal
period. You're in a good place!!

It was a great city to grow up in in the 40s and 50s-way more layed back than I'm sure it is now. I was a Jazz musician, and I missed the development of the downtown area where music and restaurants now thrive- The memories I have of my 17 years growing up in Richmond far exceed the 50 plus- plus years in NYS.
I recently transferred a lot of my photos from that time to DVD, and enjoy going to them. It was a fun time

I agree- the musician is very cool. the expression on his face is priceless-
