Hopefully we will have apples this year.
Taken with canon 60D sigma 18-200 @200 3000 sec iso 800 5.6
The 2nd picture in download is awesome, They are such a beautiful bird well done barbedwire
Boy that little one is sure keeping an eye on you.
Great pictures of a great horned owl well done
Swamp Gator you take some of the best BIF on the forum I did not know about keeping IS off during flight. I took a series of 17 pictures using 150-600 Tamron with 60D of a bald eagle in flight the last seven were too blurry to even save. I don't know if having IS on had anything to do with it.
Thanks for your input
John
Wow you and Linda are shooting same Owl same tree Both very nice capture.
John
I to pondered the same ?? I was shooting Olympus evolt camera but I needed more reach I liked what I saw on the forum about sigma 50-500 so I called B&H one rep suggested the T4i refurbished with sigma 50-500 and 18-135 so I ordered it.
But when at sam's I really liked how the 60d felt the more I looked at my order I noticed my sigma was an older version non OS so with out opening sent whole package back B&H was great.
Found 60d on ebay with 18-200 1:3.5-6.3 with OS Ordered Tamron 150-600 from B&H
Been in hog heaven ever since.
Good luck John
I really like the download of the first one.
Good job
Very cool pictures, every time I go to box canyon in Ouray CO. I take a picture of this tree growing out of a rock.
this summer may be better as I have new equipment.
Thank You Sirius One I took about 10 other pictures in a different area but camera was set at 350 sec wish it was set faster. I haven't seen the eagles in last three days I believe there heading up North.
Nice picture of a finch Regis great detail.
Do you set your lens focus limiter to 15m or full?
John
Thank You Scott you will enjoy the lens
Arrived Friday was able to take a few pictures Monday on my birthday. Taken with Canon 60D and Tamron 150 600 all shot around 600 Still getting use to Raw and pp
Took a series of shots of a eagle trying to land on a small branch but camera was set at 350 instead of 1000 would have been sweet dang live and learn.
John
Thank You Regis for you input in my first introduction I mentioned I wanted to be just like you when I grow up. I ordered a used 50-500 sigma from B&H but on further inspection found it was a older one without OS.
So I returned it and ordered Tamron 150-600 should be here Friday this is going on a canon 60D which I bought on e-bay couple weeks ago I am happy with this purchase.
Can't wait to see your eagle pictures with this lens.
John
Just received e-mail that Tamron lens is on it's way around Friday next week. Hopefully we won't have same issue as Cheineck and I will be able to tell if there is a problem.
When I ordered mine they said there was 170 people ahead of me. He thought I would be in the second shipment from Tamron. I believe I ordered on Jan 28 the few Eagles we have here in NM will probably be heading north before it arrives Oh well come on next year.
