Since no one has mentioned it, I will. Keep your eyes out for the Canon Pro-100 with rebates. Many of us have gotten that $400 printer for $100, including free paper. Rebates like that have been running for years, but they're not universal now. Adorama has it for $125 after the rebate.

Purchased the 6d bundle much cheaper before Christmas. $1249 for camera, Pro-100 printer and paper. Applied for and waiting for the $350 rebate. I would like to sell the printer so the final cost of the 6d could be a real bargain. I have always gotten good deals and service from Adorama and highly recommend them. Printer could be a hard sell since it is now $149 with a $250 rebate. Much too heavy to ship. May take a stab at craigslist.

I was considering the 80d. Would like to stay under $1000 to trade. I do not know if my photography needs FF. I am not a pro photog nor do I sell anything. I do print and frame and give as gifts and do some real estate photos.

What is the most logical move up from a Canon 60d? My photography is improving and thought I would like a full frame but only have 1 L lens (24-105) which I love. My main lens is a Tamron 18-270 and a 10-22. I shoot mainly landscapes and family photos. I use a 50X for my travel camera when flying due to the weight of the 60d and lens. Thanks for all experienced replies.

Brown and CA bad mouths Trump and now they need his help. CA spends 25 Billion a year on illegals and no money for this? Trump should give them $0.

Couldn't disagree more. I have edited many photos on an iPad and my MacBook with no difficulty. If your eyes are bad, then maybe not!

I think some on this site need to learn to be more respectful. I am tired of reading responses that say "if only you did more research or searched this site" or "this topic has been discussed before". I say so what. Some are asking for a little help or need some guidance. They don't need a smart ass reply. I have searched this site for answers and have found some that I know are absolutely wrong and some dated a long time past. Maybe some questions just need to be updated. My Dad use to say " it is better to remain silent and thought a fool, than to open you mouth and remove any doubt"! So I say, unless you have some help, pointers or "constructive" criticism to offer, please do not hit "reply". I have also read replies that chastised misspelled words. Again, I say show some respect or get off this site!

Just learned that my external hard drive which held my pics is unrecoverable. Unfortunately I did not have all of them backed up some where else. Hard lesson to learn and am looking into the best and least expensive way to have multiple back ups.

I use a Drobo 5N unit. This is a RAID system or (Redundant Array of Independent Disks). There are a number of different brands on the market but my research led me to purchase the Drobo brand. You can check them out at drobo.com. Expensive to get into but can depend on what size of drives you install in the bays. Besides the safety of the mirror imaging, it allows me to have all of my photos and files in one place, when I use 3 different computers. The drobo will work on PC and Mac or a combination of them.

That is correct. We were told that they loved Canadian tourists and found many there. They are polite to Americans now and really want our money. Right now, a dollar tip goes a long way.

My wife and I went to Cuba in October. We booked the trip through Apple Vacations which was represented by our Travel Agent. It was sold as an educational tour and was associated with Cuba Travel Services. We flew into Miami and then took a Charter aircraft to Cuba. We had a great time and enjoyed seeing things as they exist today - before it becomes another Carribean Tourist Trap. The people were very friendly and food and hotels was very adequate. I carried my SX50 and brought home approximately 1000 photos of this very beautiful (though rundown) country.

There are 2 types of monetary exchange in Cuba. The Cuban Peso is for locals only. Tourists use what they call CUCS (pronounced kooks). Because we were from the US, we paid a 13% exchange rate for the CUCS or our dollar is worth 87 cents there. Most things, especially food, was rather cheap. I do not believe they have a good system to deal with exchanging US dollars back to Cuban pesos. The shops at the Havana Airport and the Duty-Free shop did except US dollars but they charged you the 13% at the cash register. Keep in mind, they do not accept credit cards and you must be carefull carrying cash. We always felt safe and the locals were very helpful and polite - even those trying to sell "cheap" cigars on the street.
