The new firmware was installed on the camera when I installed the software on my computer, so that's a go. And I know that there is an adapter for the Canon EF and EF-S lenses. Coming from point-and shoot, I'm just not well versed on what a good telephoto lens would be for this camera.

I recently bought an EOS M and am blown away by the quality of the pictures! I have both lenses that are made for the camera but was wondering if anyone can recommend a good telephoto lens.

Hello everyone. I've been reading some of the daily posts for weeks now and have admired many of the photos posted. Just made the move from point-and-shoot (Powershot SX260) to mirrorless (EOS M) and have been having a ball. Glad to be part of the group!!
