Very nice photos so thank you for sharing, but one minor correction if I may. The name of the lighthouse is Heceta Head.

This isn't squat compared to the treatment WalMart has been found guilty of. Strange thing is it didn't seem to hurt them at all, which in turn speaks volumes about the people of this country.

Hello, this is a weird situation. The Canon 60D was set to shoot in RAW and Large jpg. When I downloaded the files only the jpg files were there. If I shoot in just RAW the RAW files show up. Does anyone know why this would happen? No dials were changed, it is set on Manual mode. Is the perhaps an in camera conversion for RAW to jpg? If so, does anyone know how to disable this? Thanks feeling perplexed...

You don't share what software you are using to view the photos. Just a guess but perhaps the camera raw files are not supported by the software used.

"You've been stopped", or is this click-bait?

Scott (tell your story) B

It's posted in the links and resources section so one would assume it's a link and not an attempt to draw attention to ones self.

Even in single shot mode, I occasionally get double shots. It's just a matter of finger control and sensitive shutter button. Don't try to take pictures when you're shivering. :D

Sounds like a perfect time to use a remote shutter release or dress warmer.

Most of the time I have it set for single shot.

" Every time I pressed the shutter I racked off mulitple unintended shots." I took every time to mean every time. Shame on me. Being to literal I guess.

I think (yes sometimes I actually think ) that if you shut off the 1/2 press it will solve the problem. As an old time manual film shooter I just could never get used to the 1/2 press. Every time I pressed the shutter I racked off mulitple unintended shots.

Simple solution. Set the camera to single shot rather than burst mode it you have trouble letting go of the shutter release. Beside with BBF it doesn't matter how hard you press the focus button as it does not trigger the shutter.

I don't shoot Nikon but with my Canon I set the camera up on the tripod. Set focus and composition as I desire and then trigger the release. I can't imagine this feature would be any different on a NIkon but I am willing to admit my error if shown to be wrong.

Can't help but wonder where all the sceptics and naysayers are. This may be a first.

Well, count yourself lucky. I mailed a check for $10,000.00 from the local post office to an adjoining state. It was lost and I had to put a Stop Payment on it. Two months later a check for $680.00 was lost that was mailed from another post office to the same state. Put a stop payment on that one, too. In 2015 the USPS cost me $50 in bank fees. Not a happy little camper.

Have you ever heard of electronic transfers? No way in heck would I mail that kind of money regardless of carrier.

Lets us know what you think after your trial.I believe there are several here, myself included that have a mild interest in this software.

All the hunters in SE ID!

Granted I have limited experience hunting elk in SE Idaho but I have done that. I don't recall seeing any fences anywhere for miles and miles. Perhaps thats why they say that. How can the jump fences that don't exist?
