I have the same issue - love making slideshows with music and would love to share online. Try googling "royalty free music".
Some that I have found is very expensive. I found a place (which I can't find right now) and downloaded two songs, "Nostalgia" and "Love and Time". I also found free sound effets and used some bird-chirping sounds for a short video (about a bird). I'll see if I can find the site later - short on time right now.
I should have said 'Try googling "free royalty free music" and that the two songs I downloaded were instrumentals and free.
Also I just found that Itune offers royalty free music for $ .99 each.
Let us know what you find.

Thank you for that information. "Learn how to Add Tags to Photos in Windows" has been on my to do list for a couple of years now. I did not know that simple fact.
I wish I could comment on this but I can't. You see, I was born in Ga and here in Georgia our mothers teach us, "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything."
Which leads me to pray this prayer quite often, "Lord, please keep your loving arms around my shoulders and your hand over my mouth."
If you are using a Windows 7 system, perhaps you could do a "System Restore"?
I have a Windows 7 Home Premium PC. Sometimes I copy or download a picture and then "can't find it". I can click on the START button, type the date in the search box, and it will show me everything added to my computer on that particular date. If you find it, you can right click on "Properties" to find out where it is.
I don't have Lightroom but : Will it allow you to use music that you create with free downloaded Audacity software. With Audacity you can combine songs into one MP3 File.
I like PicturesToExe by WmSoft. You can go super creative or super simple with it.
Have you looked at Flickr or Shutterfly?
This is my last one - I promise. It's three generations - Grandma & Grandpa (they died in the 20s leaving seven children between the ages of one and 18), their seven children, and 15 grandchildren.
The 2nd picture is the next generation and the 3rd one is the next one. There's one more but I won't bore you with it.
The later pictures were gathered mostly from Facebook. We live in eleven states. I made these collages, montages, composites, or whatever you want to call them for a family reunion last year.
Back in the 60s the brothers and sisters carried Auntie back to the old home place in South Ga. Everybody had their picture made by the dilapidated house. Forty-five years later, I put them all in the same picture.
Here's another "missing granddaughter" for the family Christmas pictures idea. Again, don't look at quality, just the idea.
The first year I had family members who couldn't come home for our family Christmas, this is how I got my annual Family Christmas picture - regular group picture missing three people - picture of one son, wearing his matching red vest Christmas present , made seperately when he came home a few days later, and pasted in Christmas ornaments of the newly weds who had moved away. Don't look at the quality - just the idea.
