Being from the Butte area, This picture was taken on the Old Gregson Road. You can see the Smoke Stack far back.
Thanks for looking

Great picture Regis, there hasn't been to many around the lake this year. I hope to see more in November when all the coots are in.
The lens use on the second picture was a Sigma 550mm and the picture was taken from 2500 yards. It was around 7:30 PM and slightly raining.
This is my first sighting of new family of Eagles this year, and also a photo of a few elks in the evening.

I really missed a good shot of one of the Rams jumping the fence, I don't know what happened, but when he landed he took a tumble, but got right back up and walked away.
Thanks, yes it is nice to be up here in the snow. You get some great shot at a lot of different animals. Still trying to get the Owls. I know there around but no luck yet.
Thanks for looking. These sheep are about 5 miles west of Anaconda. They usually come down as soon as the snow plows start plowing and putting down the salt. Some of them get killed by motorist who don't slow down so they can get off the Hi-way.
A couple of picture of a Herd of Sheep which came down to lick the salt of the Hi Way, all together there was probably 100 sheep in the bunch.
Great shot. Never saw one in person. The only one I saw was Woody the woodpecker in comics. Thanks for sharing.
It would be nice to have one for a pet. Thanks for looking at the picture.
The state wildlife workers put up a lot of nest on poles around here for the Osprey and they use them. This Bird's nest is right next to the power pole. I don't know if this is a male watching over the nest or a female. They are great parents though. Thanks for looking.
Yes I wonder about that all the time. I haven't seen any of them getting hit by the wires yet. They sure are great birds and fun to watch. Thanks for checking the pictures out.
