These were the closest I could get as far as interaction between the two! Any suggestions for next time?
I love these last 2 that you posted...and the skin color seems just fine...no odd color casts on my monitor...These are very good...and the peachy/melon colors can bring out a yellowish cast to the skin...in photos and in life...odd...! This time of the morning, my imagination takes a nose-dive...maybe have her recline on the grass or even lay down and see if she can get the dog up near her face that way...or on her tummy with the dog in front of her beside her face...

Well, the morning of the shoot, the grass was very wet. The young lady was a good sport and was willing to sit on the ground, but I didn't dare ask her to lay down. I did have other poses in mind with her laying down, maybe another time.
Thanks for the input! Another question! My biggest problem is always getting the right colors. I know photos look different on different monitors, but which photo seems to be the better as far as color goes?
I'll take the one on top.
In regards to monitors. Monitor calibration is always the first step in color control.
Nice work!
I do have a monitor calibration system, but either my drive isn't working or the program itself! I own the Eye one display 2 system and had it working at one point, I removed it from my computor a few years ago and when I went to download it back into my computor, it keeps telling me Autorun isn't available. Any suggestions????
Is the individual in the photos the owner of the dog? To me, the better the bond the better control you will have of the animal. There seems to be quite an excellent bond here so I was just curious.
Thanks everyone for all your thoughts and help! I do see a yellow tint now that you've pointed it out, I'll make sure to make the adjustment! Thanks all!

This is the first time I have a pet in the picture, it was a little challenging! The pooch was more interested in everthing around her and did not want to sit still. How is the compostion of this picture, is it not acceptable because the hand and paws are cut off?
Hello to all! Glad to be a part of the forum and hoping to learn alot while I'm here. Hoping to post a few pictures soon for comments to help me learn and grow as a photographer.
