So, I flew from San Francisco to Salt Lake City, then drove for 5 hours to the Grand Tetons' Teton Village. I'll be here for three days. Is there ANYTHING interesting to photograph here? JUST KIDDING, of course.
But seriously-aside from the well publicized vistas and venues - do any of you have any suggestions of what hidden gems there are that are waiting to photographed? It is past the prime fall-color season and the park rangers are seriously warning that bears are extremely active in this pre-hibernation time (i.e. "Don't stray too far from well travelled roads.)
Looking forward to any advice.

Did not read all the replies but these two are very close together and easy to get to. Schawabacher landing and Mormon Row. Course the weather has to cooperate, the day I was there Schwabacher was cloudy but will definitely go back. The Mouton Barn is special and may be the most photographed in America.
Good luck, oh, also catch Oxbow bend at Sunrise, get there early and get a spot.

Nope. Just 4 AA's. Lol.

Actually, so far, most of the postings of the eclipse have been crap so far, so I figured why not add to it?

Flash, please?

Hope you all have been watching the clouds the last few days!

When I chose this topic I thought I'd get the names of specific formations, but the weather did not assist me to that idea, so we will just enjoy the formations that everyone submits! No identification necessary!

For about $150 add a second monitor and move your edit panels to that monitor... works great!

Good Suggestion. I have done that, works well but not anything like all of it being on the same screen.

For a while I have been wondering if it is possible to move the image that is being edited to be left justified rather than centered? I have my layers, actions, and navigator panels on the right side of the screen, and it partially covers the right side of the image, so I have to reduce the size of my edited image to see the right side, or magnify and use the slider to the right to view. It would be helpful for me if I could left justify the image to view as a whole, and not move my panels. Thanks, Gary

How big is your monitor? Think a large monitor, I have a 27inch iMac and fill the screen and find I have room to work.

On Line Photo Service Help, Shutteufly or others.

I have been using Walgreens kiosk and plug in my SD card and select the photos I want or - Process my photos in Elements 13 then save to a Flash Drive and take them to the Kiosk. Yes the kiosk is slow.
Any one use an on line Photo Service to have their photos printed? I have never used an online photo service. I went to the Shutterfly site and it wanted to up load all my photos in Elements 2013. So I backed out. Shouldn’t you be able to select the photos you want to upload? When in Elements 13 you select Create , Print Photos and it gives you the option to print on line (Shutterfly ). I guess you could say its like , I’m sticking my toe in the water to see if its cold.
Thanks for you in put.

Beautifully captured image! I'd be tempted to clone the top off the pier post that's nearly "touching" the fisherman, to help him stand out more.

Took your advice, think its just ok, course we've seen the before version; thanks Larry

Is it a good or bad idea to make an accepted photo 'downloadable' here - where it can be swiped. There are certain copyright issues - can you tell what they are.

That is a good question, this is the only site where I give full versions of pics as our members do the same and I like to be able to look at their EXIF data, what lens, camera etc. Am sure someone could take my pic, guess I need to put a copyright on them but have not, others may be able to answer your question better.

Another. Have messed with changing that and even removing him, just was not happy with the results.
