Thanks Nalu, You just never know how close or how far the pass on the fish is going to be or which direction the eagle is going fly in to catch a fish.

Thanks raymondh, I was out there for 4 hrs so I setup under a tree for the shade as it was one of those hot fall days in South Louisiana. The tree ended up being too close to the action.

Thanks Cindy, They were filling up the frame and have lots of headless, wingless and other body parts missing eagles. The shot I posted was a ff shot no cropping.

I had a real problem today the eagles where too close and I did not bring a shorter focal length lens. I missed 90% of the shots with cut off eagle body parts. This is a FF shot using a 400mm focal length lens.
