Looking out of the bedroom window the other morning, saw the fox picked up the camera leaned out and started snapping
On a recent trip to the Morgan Car factory they showed us equipment still in use that is nearly 100 years old.
The photo is of a clamp for holding layers of wood in place until the glue dries, forming part of the body framework

A shake over a bin and a quick puff of air, snap on a lens and it still worked!

The Red Arrows at Duxford.
It was cloudy and raining so when I got home for a bit of fun I just turned up the contrast and tweaked a little in PE 11.
Only chance I would have is to part exchange...the car maybe and still not tell my wife!
I went to South Africa Last November and used a 70-200.
I you are going on Safari, anything longer and getting a stable platform may be difficult. On a couple of a occasions I was too close and had to change to a shorter lens. If you are doing something like whale watching from the shore a tripod and the longer lens would be great!
I'm no expert but the bird shot with the extender is further away that the bird without, on the other side of the hose. If it was me I would test it on something static from a tripod to get a true comparison

This time of year when birds are breeding.
I saw these blue tits nesting in a wall, one had come out onto the ledge to try and get first in the queue for food.
Niagra is great shot...reminds me of the power and wetness when I was there a few years back

I only have 70-200 so I the moon and the plane are as close as I can shoot them. I took the the two pictures within 2 minutes of each other...they were nearly together...so for a bit of fun I combined them. I would have put them in the photo contest but maybe a bit too much PP?
I'm fairly new to DSLR, I bought myself the canon 70-200 f4 L lens for my EOS 600D (Rebel T3i) as treat and it's now my favourite lens....thanks for looking :thumbup:
