They developed some really complex machinery years ago. Making cloth got to be a complicated process.

On a recent trip to the Morgan Car factory they showed us equipment still in use that is nearly 100 years old.
The photo is of a clamp for holding layers of wood in place until the glue dries, forming part of the body framework

The English TV show Wheeler Dealers had a episode that involved replacing the frame of a Morgan - quite a job. It might be available online.

Always enjoy seeing old and in many cases specially designed machinery. I remember being in New York City sometime in the early 60's and seeing a Morgan 3 wheeler in a showroom. Wish I was into photography then and could have taken a picture of it.

You can still photograph one at Lime Rock Park on the Labor day weekend. They actually race these vintage beauties. Not the best quality photo but I was further down the learning curve when it was taken.

Getting back to the subject you posted, it's a wonderful shot. Interesting subject, great composition and soft lighting. I like it very much.
