Went out looking for a decent place to try and shoot the Milky Way this morning...which on the East coast of Florida can be hard because of light pollution....I'm pretty happy with this shot...and I thank the "Boss" for letting me try to capture the beauty of His Universe....

These were all shot hand held....Forgot my Monopod and I sure could have used it Canon 1DX II with a Tamron 100-400 lense is getting hard on the shoulders to hoist for this old man....

I wanted to try the Platypod but at a $100.00 and I also still needed a Ball head at another $50.00 wasn't sure if I wanted to spend that much if I only use it once and awhile... But I did find this Knockoff.. on Amazon...

Captured this guy early last week and even though I wasn't ready with the light conditions They came out pretty well....
