You might change your shooting angle, get higher up and some of the dust will blend into the ground

I noticed your iso was 3200, the t3i has too much noise at that setting, I found staying below 1600 works ok but I set my max iso at 800.

hey everybody im wondering if anyone has any experience with m42 screw-mount adapters. i have a canon 20d and 7d and some cool old 35mm gear with some great takumar lenses that i would love to use. ive been searching the webs but not getting much. seems like some adapters wont let you focus to infinity because the rear element can hit the mirror with some lenses. just want to know what would work.

Thanks for any info.

If the photo has not been cropped you can right click on it select properties and then details. Windows 7.

I quite frequently see references made to being able to see "camera settings" from a posted download. How does one access this info?

I believe this is a female Painted Bunting. Males are multi colored. This is one of only a few true greenbirds in the US.

I saw this little guy out of the corner of my eye and managed to take a couple of snaps of him. At first I thought that it might be a Quaker parrot that happened to be cruising threw (not common but not unheard of). It was as it was taking off that I noticed that it wasn't a Quaker but something else. Anyone have an idea? The closest thing I can come up with is a Green Painted Bunting but this bird seemed bigger than that.
Really tight crop.

I kind of hope winter is not over it's been mild here this year but summer is alway HOT.

Robins occasionally winter-over, even in Maine. And they certainly never leave the area I live in now, central WA. Have been watching them, and the cedar waxwings, eating from fruit trees all winter. In a way, I miss that harbinger of spring you mention.
