I like the shot , hope U don't mind that I played with it a little,I think it brings out some hidden detail

The colors are over saturated wih little improvement in detail. Peraps the difference is in the monitor calibration yours & mine.

Taken from the same spot as my Same old Tree picture. A before and after pic, done in Redynamix, from a single image! Don't need to take 3 pics like in Photomatix. I get a few users that don't like the HDR effect, but to me the HDR is alive, the original is almost dead looking. Maybe my original wasn't exposed properly, but I would have pure white highlights had I exposed for the darker portions of the image. What to do? Any advice? Jim

Desaturate to make it more natural or pump it up making it more surreal - Either way would make a great photo.

Is this place on Whidby Island, Washington?

Will do...have been out of town for 3 days...let me go find a couple of shots of him....

Ok...found a few shots...will post several so that you may choose which ever one will work the best...He is hard to catch with his eyes open when you use the flash...looks away...silly cat...! Thanks for doing this...I would love to learn how...! Linda at Morton Farm...

I really like the last photo. Did some minor adjustments to the eyes, and brought more detail to the cloth in the lower right. Used auto smart adjust which brighten everything.

Tried your method but slight different result - the blue sky pick up noise, dark grained texture.

Here's a couple using the first photo. Will try working on the others later. Let me know if you would like something different

Lizardworks suggested adjusting midtones. That gave me simalar results as you achieved. I will try your method also.

You might try increasing the clarity slider in Camera Raw to increase your midtones.....

Niether photo was save RAW, However I do have s/w that allows midtone adjustment which did improve vibrance. Thanks for the tip.

Beautiful shots.....Are these in Moab? Beautiful State also!

First two are near Cedar Breaks NP along Hwy 14. Trappers Loop is Hwy 167 NE of SLC. Snow Basin is in the background mountains of the photo.

Nice shots but the colors look a little flat

Do you have a suggestion how the flatness could be resolved, either post processed via Photoshop or pre processed in the camera.
