ROFL
Isn't that the truth. I'm going to run right out and get me one of those and take my lens off my 5D. Wait! I have to first join the iPhone bandwagon. I guess I'll just toss my Droid. Dang. Always in the wrong place at the...

Absolutely. I've said it many times, this last fifty years has been a wonderful time to be here, especially the last 20. It's amazing what's happening even if some of it is taking us from the ridiculous to the sublime. I probably won't throw my camera bodies away any time soon but with a few more megapixels I could sure see this as a 2nd camera backup in some situations. Of course, my involvement with photos involves no pressure so I can have that attitude but it's all going crazy. I was around when the first ball point pen hit the streets and a wrist radio was science fiction. I'm almost flabbergasted.

With some of the stuff on PhotoJoJo, it seems like every day is April 1st. This is almost as bad as the guy on eBay who sells EMPTY lens boxes for $30...
I wonder if you can shoot and phone at the same time?....;0)
That is about the most dumbest thing I have ever seen, besides the tent pole tripod.

Hey...It was a joke.... Like anybody is gonna take a $1000.00 lens and stick it on a camera. Then again someone might, nothing surprises me today....;0)

Probably not a joke. That ad was from the Discovery Channel Store. They make it in a Nikon and Canon mount. Have a look at this for a more economic opportunity:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_nkw=telephoto+lens+for+iphone&_sacat=0&_odkw=tele+lens+for+iphone&_osacat=0&_trksid=p3286.c0.m270.l1313My Android phone, similar to iphone, has an 8 megapixel camera on it. That's what my Canon 20D has on it also. It zooms on its own, has various other multi controls and I even have a mobile version of Photoshop that lets me adjust and fix images, even crop. I really don't think it's a joke. It may be ridiculous but it you have a Canon or Nikon camera already, and you're out on a shoot and something happens, you've got a backup camera, or if nothing happens even... Maybe better than buying another body. The phones as a camera are a little stiff comparatively speaking, but even though they're basic, they do get some decent shots and a good lens is part of the shortcomings. Hang on folks, the aliens are coming back. :)
