on top of that the first 11,000 are exempt of tax , where in the U.S. the exemption is only 6,300.
property taxes in the U.S. are a whole lot more than here as is the taxes on vehicles in some states.(At least when I was living there) Granted I also found out that with the right accountant in the U.S.,(if you had a business) you could usually come out fairly well.Which is not the same here in Canada.
Having lived in both countries , I find that I will stay here and be very content with it even if I did have to pay more taxes here.

ecar ,please read your statement very carefully especially the one line that starts with THE LEADERS. Now take a minute and ponder who you are describing to a T.

I had the same argument with my present printer with the first canvas I had him do. No texture.Well we ordered a roll of heavier duck canvas and he printed one for me to stretch. It looked fantastic until I did my stretching .The corners all cracked and the field was showing a lot of small unpainted spots.
The reason is the canvas for an artist is pre-stretched and for picture we stretch afterwards. After a lot of trial and error he finally found one that he and I were both happy with. And now I do all his stretching.

Nice job. The only thing I can see is the reason I started framing my own which has grown into a small home/retirement very small business. At the time I started getting canvas prints every printer that I tried would do the same as I noticed on your ,which is they will only only print specific sizes. By being confined to specific sizes they compensate by cutting part of your picture off. Also at that time the corners were lapped which made a build up at the corners which I noticed that they have corrected that and tuck their corners . Canvas will stretch .If they have but paper on the back ,you can use a pencil or pen and poke a 6 or more holes in the paper backing to minimize the heat build up that will occur in high heat areas . High humid areas will also cause stretching of canvas.
