. . . when I get nostalgic. I still miss doing this.

Nice Pic John. I am amazed at the size (and cost) of farming equipment these days.

Something especially for the seniors here. Both my parents have made the comment before about seeing someone their age and thinking do I look that old. I think the dentist in the story may have lost touch with reality.

Good one. Love it.

How to have it built at no cost to you. Believe it or not my grandad sent me this. What a character he is.

Now we know where you get your great sense of humour from Sam. Sounds like he has a relationship wih you like I have with my GD but she's on 12 - going on 21.

I was on Loop 820, on my way home behind an ambulance. Oddly I noticed a small metal box sitting on the back bumper. When the ambulance turned the corner, the box flew off and landed on the curb. I thought, it's time to be a good Samaritan, so I pulled over and retrieved it. When I opened it, there was a human toe packed in an ice bag. Holy smoke, I thought! So I called Methodist Hospital and they said, yes, the ambulance had arrived without the box. I gave them my location and asked if they were going to send another ambulance to collect it? The lady replied, "No, we'll just send a toe truck." Please don’t ban me, I don’t get out much.

Knowing you are a nurse I really thought you were doing a good thing.
You got me hook, line and sinker. Thanks for the chuckle Sam.

You just have to love new life! Today at 9am we were blessed with a new healthy F1 bull calf.
Love those big ears, welcome to the world Mr 08

A friend of my family raises cattle this is one of their new additions. He will be a big boy but he just wants mom for now.

I had to look up what F-1 cattle are. (Crossbred cattle. F1's are those that have parents each comprising of a different breed.)

And Mum is eating away like nothing happened after just giving birth to little big ears. Mums ARE THE BEST. Great shot Sam.

But now . . . ?

This old house seems like a typical story: a relatively small farm, the owners die or move away, and the farm gets purchased by a bigger farmer who incorporates it into his other land. Someone will probably get around to razing this remaining building someday. It sits northeast of Elwood, Indiana.

Great capture - sad story.

I rarely use eggs thankfully. Dad told me to always have a roll of duct tape around the house. Dad I found one thing it doesn't work for.

I heard duct tape also doesn't fix stupid but it sure does muffle the sound.

Sometimes, final wills are used to spite a partner one last time. For poet Heinrich Heine, he vowed to give all his property to his widowed wife on one condition: she needed to remarry.

While this might sound like a romantic way to encourage your widow to move on, it was far from it. Because his wife was known to be boring and incredibly vain, Heine actually stated that if she remarried “there will be at least one man who will regret my death.”

Hahahaha!!!
