If you look up the Nikon 18-300mm F3.5-5.6G ED it sells for $996 alone. This is not a kit lens. So i believe my price is reasonable.

I have the Vanguard Alta Pro 384 CT and Sirui K30x. When using my Nikon D7100 with the 18-300mm I find there is a slight creep when locking it down. This set up is the next level up from the one you are looking at.So if focusing on the eye when locking down I get the middle and lower eye lid. So no the set up you are looking at I do not believe can handle 400mm lens with out vibration and creep. . Check out Gene51 replies on tripod. He is one of the most knowledgeable persons on this site. With Gene51 input last month I checked out and bought a Feisol CT-3472LV and believe this will be my final tripod. When checking out tripods do not just go on the weight it is rated on but check out how thick the top leg is for vibration.

I also have used GreenToe. Was able to purchase Nikon D750 with the 24-120mm F4 package. I was lucky at the time because GreenToe had a extra 5% off
cash rebate after 30 days. So I had saved just over $250 from the going price at time. Full Nikon USA Authorized dealer. After being notified of deal excepted I had it the following day in my hands. I also tried before this purchase to buy the Nikon 24-120mm F4 but offer was rejected. Tried again on a Lowepro camera bag and it was also rejected. The 15% savings GreenToe says can be saved is more like 5% or 6% savings. If you are lucky enough to catch a GreenToe Rebate after purchase it is worth it.

I recently bought a Pixel X800N from amazon and have been very satisfied with it. Also have Nikon SB600 its distance handling was poor. The Pixel functions really well on TTL mode with either my Nikon D750 or D7100. It handles lens from 24mm to 200mm. The reason I bought it was price. Got it when it first came out for under $100. I do not use flash very orphan and wanted to but could not justify to myself the cost of Nikon SB910.

I dropped mine off in Melville on 3/2/16 Wednesday morning. Had email that night they received it after hand delivered. On Tuesday 3/8/16 while expecting UPS delivery of a lens UPS had both the Nikon D750 from Melville and my new lens. Nikon changed shutter, updated firmware, clean sensor and body. It came back looking brand new.

Welcome to the Hog Harvey. I am a Nikon shooter. You can not go wrong with a D7100 it will do everything you want. Also it will give you room to grow and expand with. You might want to check out the Hog's classified adds I have one there
for sale. You would have a nice amount left for glass.

I also bought from GreenToe. I picked up the Nikon 750 with 24-120 Nikon F4. There advertised 20% off is not what you really get. The percentage I got was 5% off but at the time I had another 5% off do to a survey from them. I saved $243 from the going price of all sellers. There sellers products are all new and fully authorized dealers. Would use them again if price was cheaper then others. My Nikon was shipped and delivered within 3 days.

I own the Canon Pixma Pro 9000 mk II. The photos from my older model are very good. The ink does not dry out or heads need cleaning. With the sale of the Pro 100 and rebate
I also ordered it. The price of the Pro 100 with Canon paper 13x19 is cheaper then buying the ink. The upgrade for me will be being able to go wireless. Just about every topic here on UHH the members are very satisfied with the Pixma Pro series.

I use two laptops and installed it on my older Windows 7 laptop Wednesday. It took about 3 hours to install. Every thing is working fine including Lightroom CC and printers. On Thursday there was an update and again all good so far. In a few weeks I will install on my other laptop Windows 8.1 if everything is working correctly.

Welcome to the Hog. I don't shoot Canon but do shoot Nikon. It is better to upgrade from the 18-55 to the 18-135. You will have so much more reach from it and not loose any thing compared to 18-55. I have a 24-120 f4 and its on one of my Nikons most of the times.
