Thank you all for the great input!
Since I already sunk the money into Aperture I'll stick with that until the Apple dust settles on Photo next year. I'll decide what to do then. I actually did try the trial version of LR several months ago and really liked it, but had some compatabiliy problems with IPHOTO at that time.
For those of you that are still using Aperture and processing RAW, can you recommend a Work flow within Aperture? I don't have any external programs or plug-ins.
Thanks for the response. I had just purchased Aperture a few months prior to Apple announcing they are dropping support...bad luck! Aperture will remain functional so I plan to continue to use it in the near future.
Hi, I finally decided to try RAW. I currently use Aperture for PP and would appreciate any suggestions for a basic workflow process.
Thanks in advance!
Loved these photos. I have been to Gettysburg numerous times
...these photos truly capture the spirit.
Sidney,
Great series. Love old barns...if they could only talk, the stories they could tell.
Cotondog,
Nice shot...just something about old barns.
Bigal,
Great shots all...love the Spitfire!
I am not. familiar with Nik plugins and just checked out their website. The whole suite is available for around $140 which seems like a good deal. I checked the Apple forum and there seemed to be some compatabiliy problems in the past with Apeture. Just wondering if users are satisfied everything is working Ok now.
This might be my next purchase!
I also triied the LR free trial and decided on Apeture because of the easy transfer ability between Apple products. I have only been using Apeture for a few months and are still in the learning phase. So far it fills my needs.
There are a few features I hope would be in the new release when and if it happens. There are plugins for HDR fo example...but seem to be $$.
Apple Apeture users, does anyone have a recommendation for an HDR plugin?
I am relatively new to Apeture 3 and would appreciate any recommendations for HDR and any other " must have" plugins.
Thanks
Sammywoody,,
I enjoy your pictures. I was a 1nf div Artillery guy (69-70).
Thank you for your service...and welcome home!
Good point. My wife would not be happy if I screwed up my printer.
Thanks for the post...I can't wait to try this!
I these old photos never fail to amaze me. We should be thankful they were preserved and now digitized for all to see.
Thanks for posting!
