I recently purchased an Epson Stylus 1400 (prints up to 13 x 19) at a Goodwill Store for $29. I went to Amazon and bought a Continuous Ink Supply System for that printer for around $57. After watching several youtube videos, I installed the CISS and to my amazement it works! I got giddy because I reduced my ink cost by at least 75%. The only problem I have is that I am getting some banding (??) and was wondering if anyone had experience in this area? Any input is welcomed.

No, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals. But what do you mean by ethical? Moral ethics? Cultural ethics, Biblical Ethics?

Right, plus the expense of the funeral. Why plexiglass? He'll be 6' under.

I find the whole thing creepy, was his eyes glued shut? And can we say, "he was laid to rest?"

On the other hand, it was his money, his bike, his idea, so he can do what he likes.

There are some good suggestions here, with huge savings.

If you use one free product from each group, you could save $26,854. Something to think about.

Photographed this fly on a leaf in my backyard this past summer. Oddly, one of the eyes seems to be injured, as if the insect collided with something during flight.

Settings: ISO 200, Micro-Nikkor 105mm, f/16, 1/60 sec w/flash.

The second image is a closer crop than the first. Any critique, comments or suggestions encouraged. Thanks. 8-)

very cool!

There were two statues, male and female, standing opposite one another in the park. Just as dawn was breaking, an Angel appeared and brought them both to life.

The Angel said that it had been decided to give them a half hour of time to do what humans do. He looked at her, she looked at him, and holding hands ran off into bushes and trees together. There followed 15 mins of grunts, groans, and deep sighs. They finely appeared looking hot and flushed.

The Angel said that they still had a quarter of an hour left, and would they like to make use of it. He looked at her, she looked at him, and he said " would you like to do it again"? She said "yes please" He said "Ok this time I'll hold the birds down and you can crap on them".

My old reliable d80 won't auto focus and has been diagnosed with a wore out shutter release button. That said, I several problems. First is that I have been told it is a gray market camera. (thanks b&H, won't be buying anything from you again). Secondly, Nikon says they won't fix it because it is a gray market. Third, a reliable camera repair that will work on a Nikon seems to be non-existent in Denver. Ideas, recommendations?

Thanks
Mark

I had the same problem, Rick Riggins (member of this forum) fixed my D80. He communicates well and fast turn around. I highly recommend him.
