As far as using a Canon teleconverter with the Sigma 150-600 I can say from first hand experience the following.

With my Canon 5D III:

1) my Canon 1.4x converter III will not work with the Sigma lens. Get a communications error.

1) but my Canon 2.0x converter II converter works fine. Though I have to use live view to use auto focus.

As far as OS/image stability I believe it is active until shutter release. Makes sense to me.

I think if you can make it there in the next few days they will still be there. I'll let you know if I hear that they've fledged and are gone.

Thanks that would be helpful

I'm about 45 minutes away and my wife likes the shops there. Are they visible enough to get good photos? If you took any, please post.

Maybe going back to the last system save and see what happens.

It sounds like the register is screwed up

Hi All,

When I first got my Sigma 150-600 Sport I was disappointed too.

But after looking at my pictures and talking to my mentor it came down to two items.

1) Method used to hold the lens. After all a 600mm, 6 lbs lens needs to be handled much differently then the Canon 100-400mm lens. I have both of these lenses.

2). Then there is the air quality conditions and camera setup.

I am now lifting 10 lbs weights at least 3 times a day. I went out yesterday taking hand held shots at 600mm and good air quality.

The results were very sharp pictures. Now I am happy with this lens.

I just bought the Sigma 150-600mm Sport version.

I am a Canon shooter.

So I have a Canon 1.4 II exender and th 2.0 I extender and tried them with my new purchase.

Bottom line with the 1.4 II extender I got a communications error.

And with the 2.0 I had no problems and a great image.

Of course I had to use Live View to have auto focus.

So I say try what you have, but be sure there are not any physical interference problems first.

Hi,

I just went through this awhile ago.

Make sure you are using the right driver and profile for your printer and paper combination.

The driver is set in your printer setup page and the profile can be set in your software on printer setup pAGE BUT NOT IN BOTH PLACES.

Hi,

Thanks for your input!

If you look towards the end of the manual. There is a table of relative reflected light for different colors and objects.

Check it out. There maybe some valuable information there for you.

<<<<< SOLD >>>> I have a Pentax Spotmeter V to sell.

It is in very good condition. New batteries installed.

In addition it comes with the original manual, case and strap, lens cap and UV filter.

This item is listed on KEH website for around $200.00.

So that is my asking price.
