Madame President,
Did the First Gentleman (FG) discuss the recent legislation with you? Was his input helpful? Will you be assigning him to a Diplomatic position in Paris?

Madame President,
Will the new Democratic majority in the House & Senate make the approval of Barrack to the SCOTUS easier?

Madame President,
Will you be signing the new stricter regulations of the various agencies as soon as they arrive?

Madame President,
Now that SCOTUS has denied Texas' actions to restrict a******n, will you find more funding for Planned Parenthood?

Madame President,
Will you go out of your way to strengthen Public Education and severely restrict: Home schooling, public funding for private schools and eliminate prayer, and encourage the teaching of evolution?

"Madame President,"
... get used to that phrase. lol
Madame President, br Did the First Gentleman (FG)... (show quote)

If it eventuates that Hillary is elected president, the honorific would likely be Madam President unless she moves to Paris or Quebec.

Probably the same reason that virtually all libs respond to criticism of Hillary by dumping on Trump. I'm certain that this forum is not representative of our country.

Remember when Microsoft had an on-line forum division?

I was a member of the "Interfaith" religious forum. We had Baha'is, Christians, Jewish, Hindus, Buddhists, Muslims, Druids, Wiccans etc etc and just about all flavors of the various sects and sub groups of all of those as members from all over the world. And only rarely did the moderators have to intervene. It was almost all civil, polite etc.

People would offer prayers for other members with health problems, best wishes and prayers for marriages, births etc. etc.
One of the most active threads was actually a recipe/food exchange thing that got started when a Jewish member asked about Holy Day foods of the various groups. The exchange of recipes, comments on the various foods after trying them kept up for a couple of years until Microsoft ended those forums. We even had "contests" to post complete celebration menus and branched out into regional/ethnic foods, not just those connected to the faiths and holy days.
Members of groups that by tradition did not get along well even arranged visits and meetings when traveling to the area where other members lived.

That is the way things should be.

I am not suggesting YOU are uneducated, I am simply repeating what Trump himself has said that he is popular with the poorly educated - HIS words. I am sure many educated people are fooled by him or just support him because he is not Clinton.

I think more people support Trump because he isn't a part of the established ruling class in Washington than support him because he isn't Clinton.

I never really encountered right wingers up close much before I joined UHH a couple of years ago. Since then, I have learned some surprising things about right wingers that I didn't know about before. One of the more surprising things I learned is the fact that most of them are thinking about gay sex every day and obsess about homosexuality and male g*****ls, other people's rectums, and rectal functions.

Also, the most popular response/rebuttal of a right winger to a liberal or other non-right-winger who they disagree with is to start babbling about gay sexual acts usually involving oral or anal sex with the penis, p********a, beastiality, or to hurl homosexual slurs. That is based on two years of observation of the behavior of dozens of right wingers here, who represent the majority of right wingers that post in this forum.

Anybody disagree?

You're using a very small sample size to make the generalization "the most popular response/rebuttal of a right winger ....". If you were generalizing regarding just the right wing posters in the Attic, I would agree. I would make a similar generalization that the reason most left wingers post on the Attic is to stir the s**t pot. I wouldn't extend that to left wingers in general, though - just an observation regarding those frequenting this cesspool.

The party platform says it’s time to end the practice — even though the presumptive nominee still supports it.

Some key quotes:

“We will abolish the death penalty, which has proven to be a cruel and unusual form of punishment. It has no place in the United States of America,” reads the document, which the Democratic National Committee released Friday afternoon.

The platform is a compromise document between Clinton and Sanders supporters. Sanders received an unprecedented amount of say in the platform when the Democratic National Committee allowed him to name five members to the 15-member committee. Hillary Clinton chose six, and DNC Chair Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) picked four.

The draft now heads to the full 187-member platform committee for approval on July 8 and 9 in Orlando. It will then be ratified on the floor of the convention in Philadelphia.

The whole draft looks like it was written for a Bernie candidacy.

Well let's look at their records. The brave Patton slapped a shell shocked soldier, good old Mac was the hero of Anacostia flats and turned armed troops on to WW1 vets demonstrating to get their government promised bonuses, and good old Ike had a fling with Kay Somersby, his assigned driver. They were all just as human as anyone else and surely wouldn't have much room to cast aspersions on anyone else's character.

I'm sure they were complete anal retentive control freak assholes - most senior military officers are. It would still be more than interesting to hear their opinion of today's army.

I would love to hear their quote when they discovered that some of the guys they decorated for heroism under fire were, and all along had been hiding in the closet. I'll bet they wouldn't have much to say when they found out those guys had a bigger set than average.

Looking at the history of those military leaders, I suspect that you'd lose that bet.

They are. Except for the owner, who's now broke. And the customers who left fearing increased fees. And the senior employees who left because there was no incentive for their longevity and experience.

They may have had some temporary cash flow issues, but they weren't "dead broke". They had more equity in their Washington house than their claimed debt, and could have gotten short term financing with no problem.
