I can't believe that no one mentioned the Minolta 70-210 F4 beercan lens. These can be found for less than $100.00 all day long. This lens from the 80's will compete against any new 70-200 today which can cost 1000's.

I have one and love it. I use it for a second/back up camera. It does have 5.5x digital zoom. Here is a shot of the moon so you can see zoom capibilities.

yes it does. go to file-new-photomerge panarama. i bought elements book for dummies look at page 517

photomerge is for merging photos such as hdr, focus stacking, etc. photostitch is for making panorama photos.
