I like the shot. Hmmmm never thought about putting a branch for a perch on the feeder. Might have to give that a try for a more natural setting..... :D Ty for the pic and the idea!

Hmmmmmmm I have the same feeder (4 years old noe) and don't recall the birds having problems... I probably was never looking at the right time...love the shot of the sitting bird. Too cute!

It's interesting how much the droplets add to the photo. Many photographers will carry a small spray bottle of water with them attempting to duplicate nature's dew.
Well done!

No DB, Thank You for the memories, some can shake you all the way to the bottom of your soul and then suddenly bring you back.
One thinks that, I can't believe as a kid we ate the weeds out of the yard, foraged like goats. But then suddenly you remember how Mom could, with a small piece of salt pork, transform that pot of weeds into a delicious meal. Her sitting that bowl on the table with that little embarrassed look on her face and hearing her deep sigh.
It helped to understand when Dad would say "Thank you Lord for all our Blessings" when you put that first bite into your mouth. It truly was a blessing.

Sorry DB it wasn't my intention to ramble on like this but sweet memories do that to you, Thanks again!

A beautiful memory for sure... thank you for sharing it. I'm happy the photos evoked the fond memory for you. That alone makes the photos a success!

Either way, why fight it? They really are tiny little flowers. It is just a matter of perspective.

I agree completely... after all, weeds are just flowers nobody wants.... Dandelions have always been a favorite flower for children to pick for Mommy or Grandma...without getting fussed at lol..
