Thank You both, and yes it probably started the grey thing. But grey can be very becoming....:D
Good photos of a very efficient plant! They want to take over the world. Resistance is futile.

I agree, I gave up on a manicured lawn years ago.. as long as it's green when it's mowed I'm happy. Actually in their bright yellow stage, they almost look like mini mums :D

Your yard sounds a lot like mine! I love the wild onions, too!
Its hard to hate the enemy when it looks so cheery one minute and so dreamy the next. But it keeps sending reinforcements.

We had a Chinese exchange student years ago that said our yard was beautiful because of all the tiny yellow flowers. Now, I just think of her, and beam with pride when my beautiful yellow flowers come back to decorate my yard... I find it hard to believe that they don't have dandilions in China, but maybe it is just because she came from a large paved city. Either way, why fight it? They really are tiny little flowers. It is just a matter of perspective.

I agree completely... after all, weeds are just flowers nobody wants.... Dandelions have always been a favorite flower for children to pick for Mommy or Grandma...without getting fussed at lol..
