I too will be watching this as I am about to embark on a book of my Great Grand Son - my wife and I raised him the first 2 years of his life, he is now 2 1/2 and with his mother (who lives right around the corner).

I agree, I carry my 1911 .45 every where I go. Just one mile from my home at 2:00 pm a guy actually cut the head off a woman at work and was getting ready to work on another when the boss shot him. The boss needed a little more range work as the muslim sympathizer lived. Now my taxes will pay for his trial and his prison time.

WOW! What a site, they have things I didn't even know I needed. I don't know whether I should thank you or dislike you (just kidding, thank you).

Thank you! I will get them. I kind of had an idea that someone would know where to get them.

The important thing here are the curved tracks, that you mentioned in your post... we agree. The cars need only to be stated once... not two groups... so, I cropped.

Gave some detail then desaturated the orange & yellow upped the red to bring out the little red in the vegetation. Black was increased to shadow the truck (wheel) area.. but not to the point of being black.

The mystique of tracks curving is well discussed in:

A lot of reading there so that is something to do bit wise.

I am open to comments + or - on my rendition.

In MHO you hit it on the head -- what a great PP job, and ditto for your eye for composition.

Allow me to add my sad tale -- most of the hex bits I have and need fit my 1/4 inch magnetic screw driver, I'm happy ... except, I need a 3/32 and a 7/64 bits. I've driven myself crazy (I know, it was a short drive) trying to find these two online and in the tool and auto parts stores. I wonder if these sizes are so non-standard why do manufacturers use them? (rhetorical question)

People on UHH discuss the details of their cameras and army of programs with boasting pride, but never mention the sad detail of their computer beyond perhaps XP or 7 or 8. Like!! the computer has nothing to do with editing??? Wrong!!!

I was running 7, 64bit on my "XP Machine"... and admired the Topaz Webinar people who's machines zoomed across the % done bar. XP machines which many of us have (had) are limited to 4 gig... the graphics cards at half gig... CPU dual core... a Grandma rocking chair rig indeed for modern graphs files. My problem came to a head with my new camera that is a 20 mpix... big files... Occasionally tripped over it shoe lases doing Topaz, problems similar to yours.

I DIY** built a new machine Parts about $650... not 4 gig ram... rather 16 gig (now down to $100)... Not dual core CPU, but 8... Graphics card now at 2 gig of GDDR-5 high speed. Read many reviews of individual parts, picked the most for my $$s. A low end gamer computer. It is as fast as the Webinar computers ... no more edit reboots... very pleased.

** If you can use a borrowed Phillips screwdriver you can build a up-to-date kick-ass photo editing computer. No special skills needed.

One example to read... parts list changed ... technology progresses.
http://elitegamingcomputers.com/good-cheap-gaming-computers/

I used: AMD 8320 (8 core), 16 gig RAM on sale, Gigabyte GA-970A-UD3 mother board, MSI 750Ti 2 gig GDDR5 Graphics card.

I agree completely, I've been building (assembling) computers for myself and friends since 1984. So much so that I had to get a business tax license so I could buy parts from wholesale houses and saved about 30 to 50 percent on the total cost.

I have CS6 and would like to try CC without uninstalling CS6. My question is if I subscribe to the PS CC and for whatever reason decide I do not want it and cancel will CC leave my CS6 intact and operable? I called Adobe support with this question and the answer was he was not sure what CC would do to CS6. I thought I would ask here as maybe someone has already done this.

Like a lot of kids I had a love for trains, and at 77 I have not outgrown it. But as another point of clarification I am not a member of the RR club. My greatgrandson who is 28 months old loves trains (thanks to "Thomas and His Friends") so I took him to see this setup and he was thrilled -- thought I would never get him out of there. Now he asks over and over again to view this video on my computer. I can't turn the kid down -- not that I have spoiled him or anything.

I will agree with you on that. This club just says it has the largest layout in the Oklahoma City area.

Thank you for viewing, but let me clarify the name of the club.

The Club is not named because they are Canadian, but after the South Canadian River, which runs through Norman Oklahoma (8 miles south of Oklahoma City)where the club was formed.

Does the SX40, not have the plug in, for a wired remote?

No, in order to take pix with a remote you first need to have put CHDK
Canon Hack Development Kit on the SD card of your camera -- this allows you to capture pix in RAW and a lot of other things including hooking up a "wired" remote with your USB cable that came with the camera. But not just any remote will do, we started out making our own, but the one I wrote about is better (easier) than making your own, and it is just a$1.75, and works great. Sure helps with camera shake when depressing shutter button with telephoto way out. Yes I know you can set the timer for a delayed exposure but....
