Thank you. They pretended to get married a few weeks ago and they just giggled and laughed. I appreciate your comment.

I did too! Glad I could bring back a small memory from your past.

The capes remind me of a time when my little sister and I use to pin towels to our necks and we would play Superman and Wonder Woman... we use to jump off stone walls twice that high! :):) Nice photos that bring back old memories...

This is a photo of my 4 year old grandson playing with a little girl that my daughter watches during the day, Addison. I made them some capes, found a few crowns and a bridal veil. They had a wonderful day of pretending; he was the king and she was the princess. The first picture just warms my heart. Total innocence. (BTW: I had no idea my grandson would love the crown and would want to wear it all day. After awhile the feathers came off so it would look more like a Kings crown.) Please tell me how cute these are. I need validation as I'm thinking of becoming a child photographer.

Very cute, but watch the background. The tree coming our of Addison's head in photo #2 doesn't add to the photo. Love #3.

Oops, I meant out of her head.

You're right! I didn't notice that. Thank you. I just put together a wedding album for my friend and could have used you to take a look at it before I sent it off to print. I cut off an arm and the flower girl looks like she only has one leg. (Head slap!)

This is my two rescued orange tabby kitties. Charlie Nelson was rescued from a home where he was not being taken care of when he was 4 and he has been my shadow for over 10 years now. Ted Baxter was adopted from the Humane Society when he was 6 months old and that was 3 years ago. Ted and his litter mates were found abandoned in an apartment that was just vacated. Charlie accepted Ted right away and are good buddies, as you can see. When I think of losing Charlie I just weep. Everyone that adopts a rescue animal is a hero. Thank you! Wish my husband would let me have more.

BTW: If anyone lives in the St. Louis area and is looking for a forever friend (dog or cat) please let me know because my cousin works with an organization that saves animals from being euthanized. Right now there is an adorable, lovable cat that needs a loving home. Please private message me if you would like a new friend or would be able to foster her until a home can be found. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hi...I use Sigma and Tamron AF lenses on my Pentax.
Older lenses will work, but in manual focus. An adapter may be required in some cases.None of my lenses have required adapters.
I have found a ton of lenses on eBay.Oldies but goodies.
I have not purchased any Manual focus lenses yet.
If you google "using old lenses on Pentax digital cameras, "you will find web pages that specifically deal with that question.
Hope this helps!
Happy shooting!
Annie

I'm kind of "indulgo" grandma, myself. The 5 and 3 year old grandsons had just discovered Indiana Jones. Grabbed my cowboy hats and I had to make whips from 3 brown pieces of yard braided together. I heard the theme song hummed by the little guy, ALL weekend.

I love how they pretend. You're a good grandma for helping them by giving them props. Good thing you made the whips from yard. Hope you took pictures.

They are looking for a dragon so he "can kill it with his sword".
