Goldie is the only one of my six cats that would pose.
Nice. The picture seems to have a softness which compliments the pose.

Pretty kitty,I have her brother!Jen
Wow GrandmaJoy, Goldie is beautiful. Thank you for rescuing her. Great picture!!!!!
I thank all of you for your comments. I love animals. Goldie had kittiens and they all died and she was sick but she is a happy cat now.
Jen, perhaps you could post a picture of your kitty and anyone else who has pictures they want to share. In time we will only have the pictures and the memories so store them while you can.

Max
I had Snowball for 18 years and he finally had to be put to sleep.
In this shot he's bugging me while I'm trying to study....
This is my two rescued orange tabby kitties. Charlie Nelson was rescued from a home where he was not being taken care of when he was 4 and he has been my shadow for over 10 years now. Ted Baxter was adopted from the Humane Society when he was 6 months old and that was 3 years ago. Ted and his litter mates were found abandoned in an apartment that was just vacated. Charlie accepted Ted right away and are good buddies, as you can see. When I think of losing Charlie I just weep. Everyone that adopts a rescue animal is a hero. Thank you! Wish my husband would let me have more.
BTW: If anyone lives in the St. Louis area and is looking for a forever friend (dog or cat) please let me know because my cousin works with an organization that saves animals from being euthanized. Right now there is an adorable, lovable cat that needs a loving home. Please private message me if you would like a new friend or would be able to foster her until a home can be found. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Charlie making Ted feel at home.
Our new little imp, Oreo. He's totally won my heart! He's only 8 months old.
Still at the SPCA in the "meet & greet room"
Riding home in his carrier. I had to ride in the back seat with him so he could stick his paw out and touch me.
Comfortable at home in HIS chair.
Now I am all teary eyed reading your stories. All of the pictures are beautiful. How can an animal not be beautiful? When I lost a dog over 7 years ago I found myself at a website "petloss.com" and I spent many hours there. It is extremely well monitored and a place to go when you are hurting. I have lost others since then as I assume some of you have. Thanks for posting and I am sure we all have stories to tell of our precious furbabies.
I will try and take more pics tomorrow. Hope you keep the pictures coming.
Our Sylvester died, too, of kidney failure when he was about 13. We're not sure how old he was since we found him in the woods. We only lasted a month before needed another kitty in our home! :)
Me again, here's Max again and our Christmas kitten Nini. Jen :D
