Too bad you've not been to Phoenix. NW of the city along the road to LV there's the Joshua State Part where, you guessed it, there are thousands of these trees. Yes they are beautiful and you've got a very nice shot of one of them.

Well I've had my Shure for some 3 - 5 years. It's easy to use and the sound is balanced and good. Shure is one my favorte brands - that's all.

I'd recommend this Shure instead of Rode, although I'm sure they make fine mics.

Good photo. The only problem is you should have made it downloadable so we could take a closer look. But otherwise, it's a very nice photo.
