Too bad you've not been to Phoenix. NW of the city along the road to LV there's the Joshua State Part where, you guessed it, there are thousands of these trees. Yes they are beautiful and you've got a very nice shot of one of them.

Sorry did not mean to make it sound so generic. But that is the problem. I am looking for a good mic for my Canon 80D and a sony camcorder. They vary dramatically in price from $60-$300 generally. Just asking what experienced people use and why.

Well I've had my Shure for some 3 - 5 years. It's easy to use and the sound is balanced and good. Shure is one my favorte brands - that's all.

Which do you recommend and why?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

I'd recommend this Shure instead of Rode, although I'm sure they make fine mics.

Thanks for looking. C&C welcome.

Good photo. The only problem is you should have made it downloadable so we could take a closer look. But otherwise, it's a very nice photo.

I hope my UHH friends are not tired of my "Even More Huntington Beach photos"! This is my personal passion in photography. (surfing)
Often times when I am shooting the surfers I find one or more of the better surfers and key in on them. Such is the case with the first 6 shots, all of the same really talented surfing kid!

A beautiful set Brent. Don't stop now!

It was 104 degrees in July, 2015 when we visited Geneva on our Switzerland trip. It was a little cooler around the lake, Enjoy!

in our local photo club end-of-year contest. We can submit up to 3, color or B/W, taken within the prior fiscal year (since May 1, 2017). Pretty much most of them I've taken during this period of time were taken at Oshkosh (world-famous major aviation convention). I thought this would be a good one...I hear that the guest judge likes vivid colors. Pics can be any size, but must be mounted on an 11x14 board. Opinions?

An excellent photo.

I think you could have helped yourself with a faster shutter speed to "freeze" the train... Just a thought.

I went to the Oakley factory plant today and bought some new sunglasses. While on the property I photographed their tank. How cool is that?!?! How many companies have a TANK on their property? Also in the center of the round-a-bout is a torpedo......very creative.

An interesting set to be sure.

Hi Folks, I'm really going back in time now to a shot I took way back in May 2011. This is a panorama of three images stitched together from my toy Sony H9 point and shoot camera so quality isn't that great. I left the people in to give an idea of scale.

Believe it or not this crator is 1-mile accross. Hard to imagine something that large.
