I am not seeing a resolution or focus problem. I am seeing a noise problem generated by relatively high ISO 800. Most macro-photographers shoot at ISO 100 or 200. I typically shoot 1/200-sec at f/16, ISO 200, using diffused speedlight illumination.
Usually what is the setting of your flash?

Thank you all for your time & effort. I know the above stuff, and yes, I can curb the ISO. But as my question is ...I thought I can do something like Photoshop, but in camera. I see, I can NOT> this is the verdict.

Miro

You said: "I thought I can do something like Photoshop, but in camera". Copy Photoshop to the SD card, put it in the camera..and you have Photoshop in camera....

On my Canon using BBF, pressing the shutter half way only locks the metering, it will NOT re-focus.
Setting up BBF removes that function from the shutter button.

Hi Warbird: When you hand your camera to your wife, just go to auto on the dial and that takes care of focus and exposure. No problem.

No!

I have been using BB focus for about a year and a half and would never go back to the shutter release controlling focus. Having the focus on a separate button works for every type of photograph you would take better than having it on the exposure button. The only exception to this is when you hand the camera over to your spouse to take a picture. Then I switch to U1 on my Nikon which is set to focus with the shutter release

I am using BB focus. The idea set in U1 focus with shutter is great but, I can't not find how to do it. Looking in the manual pg 55, I select save to U1 and it save my settings, (BB focusing). Don't how to save "focus with shutter" in U1? Can you help?

Fascinating. Are these hummers that are being rehabbed? Otherwise, how/why do they capture them? Thank you for sharing.

They have a database. After they have all the information, they let them go

I went to a house in Madison Wisconsin, where they were having a tour of how they weight, measure and band hummingbirds. They have a garden with lots of Hummingbirds.
