Sure! If you have someone else do it! That’s about the only way that I can see to get it done without getting any on yourself.

16 hairs on the left side and 22 on the right, preclude the pleasure of owning a beard or mustache. That, plus the fact that they are light, means that I can go go a few days without shaving and no one will notice. Tried to grow a mustache in Vietnam, and after 4 weeks I had to put black shoe polish on it so it could be seen further than 3 feet away!

Well for one thing, in Zion you’re in the bottom of a bowl looking up for the most part, whereas in Bryce you’re usually looking down into bowls, valleys, or whatever you want to call them. Both, however, will provide you with more opportunities than you will be able to take advantage of. Been to both in the October time frame, so I don’t know what you can expect to see in December. I’ve seen quite a few photos of Bryce in the winter, and it looks like an amazing time to visit. If I had to make a choice, it would be Bryce, but that’s just my personal choice. You can’t go wrong with either. Google “Bryce in winter” and/or “Zion in winter” and look at some pictures before you decide. I also think it will be somewhat darker in Zion since you’re down in a bowl.

Looking closer I agree with you. I have what may be a stupid question. Why do a conversion at all?

Those headlights are/were controlled by vacuum from the engines. That vacuum was routed to the headlights by a maze of rubber tubing, actuators, and switches that are all prone to leaking, splitting, and failure. Diagnosing failures is time consuming, and the engine usually runs like crap until the problems are solved. While the rubber hoses are relatively cheap, the switches and headlight actuators are expensive and are getting hard to find. This kind of conversion eliminates all of the hassles and expenses associated with the original vacuum operated system, and insures that those problems don’t reoccur. Don’t forget that the cars in this era were struggling with EPA mandated emission controls, and were already running with less horsepower and higher maintenance costs, and needed to have EVERYTHING running properly to make smooth operation possible. Getting rid of the troublesome vacuum operated headlight system went a long way toward making that happen

Florida Flywheelers has a 4 day show in February every year that showcases steam tractors, steam cars, steam trucks, etc. for anyone that’s interested. Just “Google” Florida Flywheelers Antique Engine Club, and go from there. Junior Samples????? Yeah, that’s a Doppelgänger!

All are great, but number 3 is my favorite! Having the fence in the foreground, makes it look like you're standing on the edge of your property and taking the picture. I would really like to see the same picture taken in mid January too!

Dumb question here, but did you format the card IN the camera. Doing that might just resolve the issue.
