Like most on the Left you accept the k*****g of the giraffe PROVIDED it meets your expectations that the h****r be extremely contrite, totally apologetic, about the k**l. You should take a look at real facts about hunting in Africa and hunting in general. The beautiful animals you see in Africa are there because of hunting dollars going to numerous African countries. Many native villages are eating meat because the meat from animals k**led by h****rs is given to the natives to eat. When an animal the size of an elephant is k**led an entire village will come to the k**l site to butcher the entire animal for the meat it provides. These people don’t live in your world and don’t get welfare benefits. They live in villages with dirt homes and thatched roofs. Welcome to the OTHER world.

I am a very proud h****r and have hunted in Africa. Every animal I shot was k**led humanely and the meat, every bit of it, went to natives. The thousands of dollars I spent went to promote ethical hunt for the country of Zimbabwe.

I am proud the young lady in the photo took this animal out of the gene pool. Anybody with common sense who wants to continue seeing African animals thrive should be proud of her too. What have any of you done to help wild animals thrive, anywhere? Just saying you don’t k**l them doesn’t count.

And yet it provided 4,000 lbs of meat for the local populations.

And probably a quick death with the least amount of suffering. Funny how people are outraged about k*****g animals, but have no qualms about k*****g their own kind. I'm not a trophy h****r, but do realize that hunting does support the protection of game animals.

you'll have to look pretty hard to see Saturn, but its there . the other day it was in fairly close proximity to the moon so I shot one exposure for the moon and another exposed for Saturn combined the exposures so that the relative positioning remains correct .
800mm (400mm + 2X) with canon 5d mk4

Very nice. It's amazing how small Saturn appears unless you have some serious focal length.

If you took this last night, 6/30/2018, then that would be Mars looking down on the Moon. Venus already set in the west.

Book Cliffs talus at the mouth of Crescent Canyon. Silly name, that 'Eye of the Snake' business. Anyone can see its a turtle. Or ET. Or a hole in a rock. Obviously not a snake.

The lower part of the shadow is probably one of the other islands west of your location.

Very nice, especially the storm clouds. I'm familiar with that area (Prescott Valley) . I'd be curious what you could do on the other side of the mountain in Jerome. I think there some great B&W photo ops in that unique mining town.
