Seeing all the very good images captured with cell phones on this site lately I'm beginning to wonder why I lug a heavy DSLR around sometimes. I suppose the images are what I like to get too.
As suggested above I do use "levels" in PS Ele to set the black point in my shots and maybe crop/resize, then consider the work done. Most likely there are at least as many phone shots in my catalogue as are DSLR and most never pay any attention to source of capture when selecting one for use.
Thank you for posting your great photos showing very good depth of field plus all the other attributes of stellar photography.

...Did he get it to his chest area?
He had to do several different lifts for qualifications, think that one was called a "dead lift" and was as high as it should have been according to the score board - note his hand positions. Each lift had different weights - think the one that was chest high had two less weights and different hand positions. The over head one had several weights less.
Just remember thinking that he'd have no problem lifting his grand dad over his head and holding him up for a while (I'm six foot and a couple hundred pounds).
Ditto everything written above. Great work!
These photos do show a good example of a very shallow depth of field. Reminded me why I haven't used the "tubes" in the drawer here for years. The subjects are very well in focus to my eyes - good job!
Very nice photos of a beautiful bird - great composition. You seem to be down at eye level too.
Thanks guys!
This is the typical Charles Atlas story - he was very small though out his younger years and finally decided he'd had enough with being the littlest guy in the crowd. About five years ago he started lifting weights. He's not the tallest at 5'-10" but can throw down just about anyone in his high school class of over 400 students.
EYYYAAAAAAAAAAA...
(Seems as if it was only last week that this 4.8 lb. baby was sitting on Grandma's lap listening to her read his favorite stories. Count those 50# weights on the 50# bar!)
Great photos and narratives too!

Why not, those are beautiful architectural shots with the hawk and lizard being minute enhancements.

Outstanding endeavor - composition, subjects and artistic treatment, thank you for posting!
Wow, very seldom do photos generate such a feeling of knowing as do these! Thank you for posting.
To explain: First off I remember most of all walking through that entrance to assist in the ordination ceremony of a classmate from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest located in Austin, Texas many years ago. Everything was a new experience for me then and evidently well imprinted into my cerebral memory bank.
I'd taken the red-eye to be there in the morning of the ceremony and really didn't become aware of where I was until walking into that beautiful building.
My classmate and I had studied together throughout the three year MDiv program but have lost touch over the years.

Ah yes, that second cup of coffee - priceless!
The X-ray machine was interesting since I'd just begun using 3-D imagery in my engineering design work before retiring 30 years ago. My system could only display stick figures because of lack of memory. That image was very complete and what is seen is the 3-D image laid out flat. All done in seconds with a couple mouse clicks!
The dentist rotated the 3-D image to be able to see any and everything he might encounter when removing the broken off root and when placing the implant. I took that shot off the system's main screen with my cell phone that has way more memory than the DEC 1135 I used way back then.
Yeah, progress and innovation are great but been there done that too!

Yep, the explanation is lost somewhere back in the previous pages.
