A 50mm will do just fine. If you have a set of tubes then you may want to try 20mm or 16mm so that DOF gets adjusted accordingly.
This will help you decide the working distance and comfort level.
Caution: This route is addictive !!

Very good set Angela ! Extension tubes can do the job. The only thing you need to worry about is the working distance as Carol stated.
