...and others. For anyone interested in the technique, this is the link to Harold Davis' article. To see petal detail, please take time to double download. The veining detail is worth the time it takes to make the stacks IMO. Hope you enjoy!

Incredibly beautiful work, Donna. It looks like you have mastered the technique! I especially love the delicacy of the violets and the azalea.

Beautiful photographs, all. I love the white background. It is different for me as mine are usually with a black background. Do you use a white screen or something behind them?

No, I'm far from having it mastered, Sandy, but I'm enjoying trying. I'm so glad you enjoyed them, and I do so appreciate your lovely comment!

I love them all and even better details on the downloads!!!
If people still wrote notes on paper, these would make a fantastic set of note cards!!!

Thank you so much, Dennis! I'm so glad you enjoyed these. I pretty much follow Harold Davis' technique. If you get a chance, do read the article. I use a lightbox and place the flowers on it. Then I take a series of shots from dark to light enough to be completely blown out to get my base image. Then I build from there with each layer. It sounds complicated, but it's really not or I couldn't do it.

I'm so glad you enjoyed these, Angela, and thank you so much for your sweet comment! They really would make good note cards, wouldn't they? Stacking isn't hard, really, and you need no special program for it. Let me know, and I'll be glad to explain what I do in one of our chats.
