Thanks for the comments....much appreciated. I looked at your avatar...it looks like a largemouth bass you have there. When I lived in OR , that was one of my favorite eating freshwater fish, number two to the Crappie.

Thanks, I have caught them before, but not this one...just happened to be "looking on" when it was hooked...do you see the hook, not in the mouth.....here's a "shad" from the James River at Richmond, VA
